IKS Web-Kanban

The IKS Web-Kanban Interface can be used for internal as well as for external process handling!!

Internal - as Scan & print Station and as Monitor

Nearly each PC in your company can be used as a Scan Station without any installation needed. Simply start your Standard Browser, if you like, then additionally connect a standard Plug and Play USB Scanner and you are already able to scan your cards with the IKS Web-Interface and manage and control your Inventory.

External - Link suppliers via Internet

There are different ways to include external suppliers in a Kanban system. Kanban signals can be transferred via fax, email or via Internet. Fax and email is an IKS standard since a long time. Since 2007 it is also possible to use the Internet to involve the suppliers into the existing Kanban system.

The new IKS Web-Kanban Interface offers the possibility to provide all required supplier information and to design the processes very easy, transparent and fast.

The benefits of „Web-Kanban“ are

  • having the option to do scans also externally, especially the possibility of multiscans, this means setting Kanbans “In Transport” by just one single click.
  • Easy sending of Kanban signals
