manufactus presents the digital revolution in intralogistics – Kanban meets e-Labels
From March 24 to 26, 2026, Stuttgart will once again be the global center for intralogistics solutions. This year, manufactus GmbH is making a clear statement for the “Paperless Factory” at LogiMAT: The focus of the trade fair presentation is the intelligent linking of the proven e-Kanban System IKS with state-of-the-art e-label technology and smart sensor technology.
The digitalization of logistics processes is progressing inexorably. manufactus shows in Hall 5 how companies can make the transition from the traditional Kanban card to a fully automated, digital control system. The goal here is maximum transparency and efficiency in the flow of materials – from a simple barcode scan to a fully automatic signal.
The card goes digital: greater efficiency thanks to e-labels
The highlight at the manufactus GmbH stand is the integration of e-Labels into the Integrated Kanban System. Where paper cards used to have to be moved by employees, smart displays are now taking their place. These digital companions not only make the factory paperless, but also more interactive:
- Direct status change: Using integrated push buttons on the e-Label, employees can change the status directly at the storage location from FULL to EMPTY, triggering Kanban signals in real time.
- Precise single picking: Special e-Labels with large push buttons enable the recording of single-part withdrawals, which are immediately visualized in IKS.
- Status change through localization: Simply place containers in dedicated zones to trigger a status change, e.g. to EMPTY, completely without additional manual intervention by the employee.
- Maximum compatibility: The solution is seamlessly integrated into existing e-Kanban processes and thus offers additional benefits to the already existing advantages of an electronic Kanban system.
Smart sensor technology for autonomous intralogistics
In addition to the e-Labels, manufactus demonstrates how the use of smart sensors creates a fully automated material flow. Whether tilt switches, weight or distance sensors – in conjunction with e-label and sensor technology, the Integrated Kanban System enables a dynamic display of current stocks directly at the storage location, without the need for manual intervention.
Visitors can see for themselves how easy the operation is and how clear the signaling of these systems is. manufactus thus demonstrates solutions that not only drastically reduce the error rate, but also massively shorten reaction times in production.

Despite the focus on digital transformation, manufactus remains true to its roots: The entire portfolio relating to classic Kanban optimization is of course still available to all customers. The e-Kanban experts invite all interested visitors to experience the future of intralogistics live and discuss individual concepts for their own production.
